The Sound of Sirens Services Choir is based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
We are open to all public services personnel, including those currently serving, retired, civilian staff, and volunteers (and their immediate family).
We don’t audition, and all levels of experience are welcome to join.
We regularly perform at local events and host our own.
We are dedicated to sharing the joy of singing together through our unique blend of vocal harmony and community spirit, making every rehearsal and performance a memorable experience.

Those founding members wanted to continue what we’d started. We opened up to all public services and rebranded to become The Sound of Sirens Services Choir.
As well as sharing a love of singing and music we have all found friendship and community.
Many of us have discovered hidden singing ability, learned how to sing in a choir, and developed confidence.
We have performed at several local events, and have hosted our own.

Our choir members (Sirens) come from all backgrounds and branches of public services. Some have previous singing experience and for others SOS is their first choir.
No experience is necessary and we do not audition as we believe that everyone has something to offer, and everyone can benefit from the community and connectivity that SOS can offer.
Members must be 16yrs or older, there are no upper restrictions on age.
SOS is funded by member subscriptions of £20 per month (just £5 per rehearsal), local council grants, and fundraising events.
SOS strive to keep the costs as low as possible, our primary outgoings are:
- employing our professional musical director.
- paying for copyrighted music.
- public liability insurance.
We meet every week for rehearsals.
Tuesday 5:30 pm- 7:30pm
Newtown Centre, Nursery Road, Huntingdon, Cambs, PE29 3 JR.
** New members can ‘try before you buy’ and enjoy two free rehearsals with no obligation. Just completed the sign up form or email us if you want to attend a rehearsal.
